Customs and Rods Went To the Hill

For just about as long as there have been cars people have been making changes to them. Sometimes the changes are subtle to perhaps allow for a specific type of use and sometimes entire new vehicles are created from the bones of another. The big push in customs and hot rods came following World War II. Soldiers came home having learned new skills and they went out and bought up older cars, many from the 1920s and 1930s and began to alter them. Today, customs and rods have a huge culture throughout the country. There was plenty of proof of that at the Headin' For the Hill show in North College Hill among the 170 cars and trucks on hand. Here are some of the ones on hand that day.
