Hot Rods are a special kind of custom automobile. Instead of making alterations to a car or truck for aesthetic purposes, the cars were rebuilt with one thing in mind: speed. Body panels were removed, larger, more powerful engines were added and frames were often given more stability. The idea behind these cars was to race and to race fast. Today the hot rod culture is alive and well as was evidenced at the Headin' For the Hill show in North College Hill. Here are just some of the hot rods that were on hand that day.
