 Everyone knows about the Chevrolet Corvette. Introduced in 1953 to be General Motor's answer to the numerous European sports cars that seemed to follow returning GIs following World War II. The Vette has been in constant production and is now in its eighth generation (pictured above is a C7 or seventh generation car).
