French Cars at Dayton
One of the featured marquees at this year's Dayton Concours d'Elegance was a tribute to the cars from France. And so the organizers at this year's concours brought in an excellent collection including a 1935 Bugatti Type 57 Binder coupe, a 1961 Facel Vega Facillia, a 1964 Renault Dauphine, a 1971 Citroen DS-21, a 1929 Bugatti Type 35 B that possessed a vast racing heritage, a 1950 Simca 8, and a 1972 Citroen SM sports model.

A City Wide Event
When a city decides to close down its main street to hold a car show, the whole town had better get involved. In Newport, for the Rides on Monmouth, they do. Live bands, restaurants, specialty shops all are up and running for the hundreds of people who stop by to enjoy the cars. This year on the street was a Chevy Corvair, an old Ford that has seen better days, a customized VW Beetle, a Packard One Eighty, a C2 Corvette, a Pontiac Trans Am, and a C 3 Vette.
