Among the cars on display was a 1966 Oldsmobile 442, a C3 Chevy Corvette, a 1971 Chevelle SS, a 1947 Mercury, a 1968 Dodge Charger, a Plymouth Road Runner, a 1963 International Loadstar 1600, and a 1971 Challenger.

Even Foreign Cars Came To The Antique Auto Shop Open House

This 1957 BMW Isetta was one of a number of foreign cars that rolled in for The Antique Auto Shop Open House and Cruise-In. There were around 70 total cars on the lawn and some unique rides for sure. The Isetta microcar was originally created by the Italian firm of Iso. It was built to be a small runabout city car and actually used a motorcycle engine. If you look closely you can see that the only door is at the front of the car and is the only way to get in and out of this two seater. A number of other companies licensed the rights to the car but it was BMW that did the most with it, including adding a larger engine.

Also on display at the event was a 2005 BMW M3, a 1988 325i, a new Alfa Romeo, a 1970 Triumph TR-6, a concours quality 1994 Porsche 968, a new Porsche and a classic 911S.

Great Weather Brought Out Great Cars

It was a cool and crisp, very unseasonable late summer day under clear skies when The Antique Auto Shop held their Cruise-In and Open House. The event, tucked away in an industrial section of Hebron, brought in over 60 great cars and trucks. There were many of the usual suspects but a few vehicles you don't often see were sprinkled in such as this beautiful LaSalle. Also on display was a Chevy II, what the owner called a 1968 1/2 Ford Mustang, two different model year Impalas, a Corvette, a 1955 Bel Air, and a Pontiac GTO.

Mustangs Both Old and Mostly New Were At The Antique Auto Shop Open House

Most any open car event is going to see it's fair share of Ford Mustangs. The cruise in and open house at The Antique Auto Shop was no exception. What was a bit different, though, is that most of these ponies were newer models with just a sprinkling of older cars. Here are some that were on hand for the event.

Pontiacs Wrap Up Headin' For the Hill For Now

While over 140 cars and trucks were on hand for North College Hill's Headin' For the Hill show there are only so many that can be posted before we have to move on. As usual, we'll come back and finish up with all of the amazing vehicles that were on display on that hot, late summer day once the season ends. For today, we have a host of Pontiacs that came out to help raise money for the community's various youth organizations. Among them was this beautiful 1967 GTO. Also on display were a few more GTOs, a Trans Am, a Firebird, a 1966 Tempest, a 1988 Trans Am GTA, and a Firebird. I hope you've enjoyed the cars posted so far.
