The Next To Last Post From Helcher Car Care

If you've been following the posts from the 12th Annual Don Helcher Car Care Classic Car Show then you know that it was not a huge show but contained a nice variety of some really great cars. Today's post is the next to last from this show and include a beautiful Chevy S10 pick up truck, a 1955 Bel Air, an early post War Ford Custom, a Buick Riviera, a couple of different generation Corvettes, a well worn S10 pick up, and a work in progress 1973 Camaro.

Getting A Plesant Surprise

 My son and I had never been to the Don Helcher Car Care show even though this was its 12 year. In a way that's pretty surprising as we're often trying to mix things up. I haven't gone back and checked but my guess is that this show often would occur the same time as one we would always frequent. And while this show was smaller than many we attend it did offer up some nice surprises such as this first generation Ford Thunderbird, a C 4 Chevy Corvette, a wonderful Mustang, a race ready 1969 Mercury Cyclone, a 1963 T Bird, a restomod Ford Deluxe convertible, and a 1966 Impala.

A Benefit Of A Pandemic

As the world slowly returns to something that once resembled normal, we are still trying to recover from how the Covid 19 pandemic affected last year's car show season. The effects of which are still being felt as many of our early shows have been cancelled or pushed back. That has opened us up to exploring some different shows, shows which we've never before attended. One such show is the 12 Annual Don Helcher Car Care Show. It was a smaller show but still brought out over 35 cars such as this Ford Galaxie, a retired GMC truck, a Ford Mustang, a Pontiac LeMans, a couple Trans Ams, a Chevy 10 Custom Deluxe pick up truck, a C1 Corvette, and restomod Dodge.

12th Annual Don Helcher Car Care Show

 On a hot, sticky late spring day my son and I hopped in my car and headed way across town to attend the 12th Annual Don Helcher Car Care Show. This was a smaller show that brought out between 35 and 40 pretty impressive cars. Among them was this fabulous Ford Mustang, a Willys 4 Wheel Deluxe pick up, a highly (pun intended) modified Dodge pick up, a 1955 Chevy Bel Air, a Corvette, and a Pontiac GTO convertible.

The Last From Dad's Rock

 The Dads Rock Car Show was held on Father's Day and while not that many people showed up there were some great rides on display. Among them was a beautiful 1948 Ford 8, a 1967 Mustang, a C4 Chevy Corvette, a Chevelle and a current generation Camaro.

 As its name would imply, the Dads Rock Car Show was held on Father's Day and while it didn't bring out a lot of vehicles there were some extremely nice examples such as this award winning 1957 Chevy Bel Air as well as a Ford pick up that was in the middle of a restoration, a Camaro Super Sport, and a Chevy 210.
