Great Cars At Cruise-A-Palooza

When the weather permits, the Cruise-A-Palooza event brings out a host of fantastic cars such as this very cool street rod based on a Plymouth, a Ford Mustang, a modified Chevy Chevy II, a Pontiac Firebird, a 1972 Nova, a Cadillac convertible, and a 1962 Impala Super Sport. Oh, and Happy Halloween.

The Cruise-A-Palooza show at historic Coney Island (not that one; the second one) can bring out a lot of great cars. In this post we have a group of Ford Falcons in various trims and styles as well as a Mustang that managed to sneak in,

Rarely Seen At Cruise-A-Palooza

When the weather behaves the Cruise-A-Palooza show brings out a lot of the usual suspects but also some rarely seen greats. Check out yesterday's post to see some examples. In addition, take a look at this beautiful Essex Six, as well as a 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III that should look familiar to regular followers of this blog, a 1935 Hudson Terraplane, a Ford pickup, a International Harvester pickup, a Chevy Camaro SS, a Corvette, and a restomod Chevelle.

Cruise-A-Palooza

The Cruise-A-Palooza show is one of the oldest shows in the region. Located at a famed amusement and water park right on the Ohio River, the show seems to suffer from weather problems. It seems that every other year rain either washes it out completely or hampers the turnout. For the next two and a half weeks I'm going to be posting photos from one of the most successful of those shows. The event included a spectacular 1940 LaSalle, a 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible, a 1977 Firebird Sunbird, a 1930 Packard, a 1931 Ford five window, a Chrysler 300, a 1949 Packard Super 8, and a homemade woodie wagon. What do you think of these?
