A Rainy Night Turned Into a Perfect Day For a Car Show

For most of the summer the weather had been pretty bad. It was either raining or the heat was suffocating. The night before the Park and Ride For Heroes event it rained. But luckily it cleared up and turning into a near perfect day for the show with temperatures well below average and non-threatening clouds shading the lawn at Al Jolley Park. This brought out over 100 vehicles to celebrate the first responders and other heroes of Campbell County. Among the cars on display was a Plymouth Barracuda, a 1965 Chevy Chevelle, an El Camino, a Nova, an Impala, and a 1971 Monte Carlo.
