Wrapping Up Park and Ride For Heroes....For Now

Introduced in 1964 as an optional trim for the Oldsmobile F-85 and Cutlass, the 4-4-2 became one of Olds' most iconic muscle cars, even earning its own model designation in 1968. The name, officially hyphenated by the company, refers to the car's four barrel carburetor, four speed manual transmission and dual exhaust. The car was made, off and on, through 1987 and has become a popular staple of the old car hobby. One was on hand for the Park and Ride For Heroes event at AJ Jolley Park in Alexandria. And it, along with a few others that were on display, will be the last from this show for now. As always, feel free to let me know what you think of the cars and the event by either leaving a comment (no ads, please) or by dropping me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com

Also on display at the event was a Honda, a Cutlass, a Cutlass Supreme, a Cadillac Victoria hearse, a Chevrolet Impala, and a Chevy Nova.
