As I do every week, here is a link to the latest Hemmings Classic Car Weekly Newsletter. This week's top story is on the 1956 Ford Skyliner. It and all of the stories are very good reads. I say it every week but if you don't already subscribe to this you should.

Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.

As is the case with most shows of a decent size, there were a number of fine looking Chevrolet Bel Airs on display at this past season's Bethel Murdoch Church Show and Ice Cream Social.

More Variety From Bethel Murdoch
The Annual Bethel Murdoch Church Show and Ice Cream Social always manages to bring out an interesting variety of cars. This year saw the likes of a Volkswagen Beetle convertible, a 1957 Chevy pick-up, a customized pick-up, a Chevy 3100, a concours quality 1961 Studebaker Hawk, a 1967 Pontiac GTO, a rare Jeep station wagon, and an old Studebaker pick-up truck.

Back to Bethel Murdoch Church Show
The Bethel Murdoch Church Show and Ice Cream Social is always a fun event. First off it is hosted by a church with a great facility, with plenty of shaded lawn for the cars and guests to enjoy a nice warm day. Though it is a little out of the way it generally draws a nice collection of automobiles. Add to that the fact that they have an ice cream social as part of it and you have a show that brings out some sweet customs, a nice Chevy Impala, a brand new Dodge, a Ford Galixie 500 convertible, and a lot more.

Today I'm posting the last of the cars from this past season's Glendale Gathering and this is a great way to go out with another group of beautiful foreign automobiles. Included today are a pair of different generation Jaguars, a Porsche 911 Turbo, a pair of Ferraris, a very rare 1967 Ghia Spider which is one of only six known to exist, another pair of Ferraris including a rare four seater and a coveted Testa Rosa (which in Italian means "red head"), and a gorgeous Porsche 356.
