With over 450 vehicles parked along Walnut St. and stretching for a few blocks in each direction along High St., the Cruisin' for the Cure ALS show was one of the largest events in the region. The tree lined streets allowed people to wander among the cars and the various restaurants provided plenty of variety when it was time to eat. But the real reason people showed up was for the rides. Among them was a 1929 Ford, a Lincoln Town Car, a 1962 Chevy Impala, a Mustang, a 1973 Camaro Z 28, a 1958 Chevy Nomad, a Chevy Special Deluxe, a Chevelle, and a Corvette.
Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.

History of the Indy 500
Here is a pictorial history of the Indy 500 as put together by USA Today. It has some really cool old pictures. Luckily it doesn't have anything about the year I broke the winning car right there on the bricks. (That's a true story, by the way. I did break the car that won.)
