Some Of the Cars In the Shop At Zakira's Garage

 

Zakira's Garage is, first and foremost, a shop dedicated to, according to their web site, "repair, modify, rejuvenate, and  restore all sorts of classic, enthusiast and specialty vehicles." So when they recently held a combination open house and cars and coffee a lot of attention was placed on the cars they were currently working on. In the garage there were various vehicles in various stages of work, including a Bentley Turbo, a barely recognizable 1966 Jaguar E Type, a Ford Mustang, a Bricklin, a Cadillac ambulance, a Pontiac Trans Am Firebird, a 1948 Packard Super Eight, and a 1976 Volkswagen Rabbit.

Foreign Cars At Zakira's Garage

 

The recent open house and cars and coffee held by Zakira's Garage brought a large percentage of foreign cars. Among them was a BMW 320i, a Saab 95 station wagon, a Triumph TR6, a Porsche 911, a Nissan 200sx, another Porsche, a Mazda MX5 Miata, and a Honda S2000.

 

Zakiras Garage Open House

 

On a beautiful, yet windy, spring day, Zakiras Garage in Blue Ash held a combination cars and coffee and open house. The event attracted around 120 vehicles and gave people not only a chance to mingle and chat but to also see some of the projects they have been working on. Among the folks who came to visit were some very nice automobiles including a Ford Mustang, a 1942 Chevy pick up truck, a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo, a Dodge Charger, a Chevy Chevelle Super Sport, an AC/Shelby Cobra copy, a Fox body Saleen Mustang, a 1961 Chrysler Windsor which has been selected for the Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance,  and a Mazda Miata.

Wrapping Up Rollin' On the River

 

Today we're wrapping up the Ludlow VFW's 20th Anniversary Rollin' On the River car show. Beautiful spring weather brought out around 75 cars and trucks which pretty much filled up the lot where the show was held. Among the vehicles on hand was a second generation Chevrolet Corvette, a friend's 1997 BMW Z3, a Chevy Styleline, another C2 Vette, a Chevy Nova Super Sport convertible, a couple first generation Ford Mustangs.

 

More Variety In Ludlow

 

The 20th Anniversary Rollin' On the River Car Show sponsored by the Ludlow FVW was held on a beautiful day in May. Perhaps that's one reason why the VFW's parking lot was full of great cars both old and new. Among them was a first generation Chevrolet Impala, a Chevy Monte Carlo SS, a C3 Corvette, a Maserati Levante, a retired Segate fire engine, an Oldsmobile 442, and a Chrysler New Yorker.

The 20th Anniversary Brought Plenty Of Presents....And Pasts, Too

 

The 20th Anniversary of the Ludlow VFW's Rollin' On the River car show brought out what can only be described as wonderful presents in the form of around 75 amazing automobiles. Among them was a seventh generation Chevrolet Corvette, a restomod Plymouth, an old Dodge pick up truck, a Chevy Camaro Yenko copy, a Maserati Gran Turismo, a rare Buick Reatta, and a C3 Vette.

 

Nice Weather For the 20th Anniversary

 

The 20th anniversary of the Rollin' On the River car show sponsored by the Ludlow VFW was held on a near perfect spring day with temperatures in the 70s and a gorgeous blue sky. This brought out about 75 cars and trucks to fill the VFW's parking lot. Among the vehicles on hand was a Chevy Chevelle Super Sport,  a Chevy II, a Nova, a 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline, a newer Porsche, a 1955 Chevy Bel Air, and a Chevy Impala.
