Late April in the Ohio River Valley can be something of a weather crap shoot. It has been leading up to the opening show of our car hobby season with roller coaster temperatures and on again, off again rain. While there was a prediction of some possible rain, the opening day event saw near perfect weather. It was well above average in temperature and though windy, there was no rain. That was good news for the Green Township VFW Post 10380 event held at Diamond Oaks Vocational School. Among the vehicles that turned up was a Chevy Corvette that had actual race history. Also on hand was a 1957 Bel Air, a 1955 Bel Air, a C3 Vette, two generations of Camaro Z28, a C5 Corvette, and a Ford Sedan.
