There were in excess of 1000 cars and trucks that rolled into Lawrenceburg to take part in the 8th Annual Cruisin' To A Cure For ALS car show. Raising money for ALS research, the show saw plenty of iconic Chevy Bel Airs on hand. The Bel Air was introduced in 1950 as one of General Motors first original designed cars following World War II. The first generation ran through the 1954 model year but it was the second generation, the "Tri-Five" models from 1955 through 1957 that are most recognizable at old car events. The truth is that the Bel Air was the top of the line big sedan produced by Chevy. The 150 and 210 models were available as well as station wagons. Here are some of the Bel Air era Chevys that were on hand.
