The only way to describe the 8th Annual Cruisin' To A Cure For ALS show in Lawrenceburg is by calling it a success. The early threat of rain never materialized and the day turned out to be an exceptionally warm early Sunday in May. This brought out over 1000 cars and trucks and helped raise over $20,000 for ALS research. The event took up over 12 blocks and numerous parking lots in downtown Lawrenceburg. Among the many cars on display was a 1970 Buick Skylark, a modified 1958 Cadillac Series 62, an honest to goodness real deal not a kit car Shelby Cobra, a Saturn Sky, a Lincoln Continental, a 1950 Mercury, an AMC AMX, and another Buick Skylark.
