Rollin' On the River For Charity

The vast majority of old car events are held for some sort of charity. The backers are raising money for a worthy cause and vehicle owners gladly pay their entry fee because it is going to a good cause. The 34th Rollin' On the River Classic Charity Car Show even has charity in its title. The event, held at beautiful Fernbank Park on the banks of the Ohio River, is put on by the Delhi Kiwanis and Boy Scouts in order to raise money to support a number of groups helping children in the surrounding communities. So it is no wonder that about 300 cars and trucks showed up. Among them was a beautiful 1961 Chrysler Newport convertible, a Dodge GTX, a Ford Starliner, a Ford Thunderbird, a Chevy Chevelle, a 1967 Pontiac GTO, and a Chevrolet Nova.
