The Weather Held For Rollin' On the River

For some reason weather has often played a factor in the annual Rollin' On the River For Charity car show. Some years have been a total wash out while others have seen beautiful, clear skies. This past summer's 34th edition saw something of a mix. While the rain held off until the very end, the cloudy skies masked a hot, humid day. Still, about 300 cars and trucks showed up on Fernbank Park to help raise money for various children's charities. Among the rides on display was a 1967 Chevy II in the Nova trim (yes, the Nova started out as only a trim before becoming its own line), a Plymouth Road Runner, a second generation Ford Thunderbird, a Ford Starliner, a Plymouth Super Bee, and a Pontiac GTO.
