Keeneland Concourse d'Elegance

Though it is a fairly new event, the Keeneland Concourse d'Elegance is growing both in size and in stature. Earlier this summer I posted tons of pictures from this event but what I didn't show was what was happening just beyond the Concourse displays.

Because the event is set at the large and picturesque setting of Keeneland, the organizers let just about anyone become part of the celebration. What they do, in order to increase the money they raise for their charities, is, for a small donation, anyone with a classic, collectible or very cool car can park in what they call the Paddock area. This draws hundreds of folks from all over to attend and to show their cars, while not right next to, very close to the Concourse entries.
