One of the reasons for the success of the annual KOI Cavalcade of Customs is that they offer a lot of different things. Sure there are cars, lots and lost of cars. This year there were over 200 on the two floors of the Duke Energy Convention Center. But they also bring in celebrities who will sign an autograph and let you take a picture. And they do it for different ages and groups, as well. For example while my son and I were there we saw long lines for a professional wrestler as well as a throng of girls to get the chance to meet a Disney television star. Surely these names bring in some people who otherwise wouldn't turn out. Nothing wrong with that.
