Foreign Collectors at Dayton

When American soldiers returned home after World War II, many of them brought an interest for foreign made cars with them. And in some cases, the cars themselves. Dayton put a spotlight on the Foreign Collectors from the end of the war until 1980, starting with a 1958 Mercedes 190 Sedan.
Also part of this group was a 1974 BMW 2002 Turbo, a 1969 Mercedes 280 SL, a 1952 Mercedes 220 Cabriolet B, an example of the first true "city car" with a 1956 BMW Isetta 300, a 1948 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith, a 1964 Jaguar 3.8 S, and a 1961 Facel Vega Facellia.
