T-Birds At Sharonville

Make no mistake, the Ford Thunderbird was introduced in 1955 to compete head to head with Chevy's Corvette. But the shrewd marketing folks at Ford didn't call the T-Bird a sports car. Rather they created a whole new genre, the Personal Car. By the second generation in 1958, it was no longer a sporty two seater but had acquired a rear seat and was being hailed as a personal luxury car.

There were a number of beautiful examples of the Thunderbird on display at this year's 38th Annual Sharonville Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Show that ranged various generations. Enjoy these pictures and choose your favorite.
