End of Another Week of the Cavalcade

Here we are, at the end of another week of great cars from the 56th Annual Cavalcade of Customs. Today, along with the type of random shots I've been posting, I'm posting a picture of a very unique car. Chevrolet had a large display of both new and old cars. One car, the one at the top of this post, is a 1967 Chevy II Nova concept car. Talk about cool.

Old and New at the Cavalcade of Customs

The 56th Annual Cavalcade of Customs featured both old classics and new modern marvels. While this happens every year, this year they were showing a 1912 Model T and not far away a brand new Lamborghini Aventador. In between were a bunch of cool cars as well, including a number of great customs, especially a very slick 1947 Caddy.

More Random Cars From the Cavalcade of Customs

Here are some more random cars from this year's Cavalcade of Customs. There's an absolutely fun way to push your baby around, a Model A customization job in the works, a rare over the cab Chevy truck, a Karmann Ghia station wagon, a Chevy pick-up low rider, a Chevy Bel Air Nomad, a Beetle and some more.

Winding Our Way Through the Cavalcade of Customs

Here is another day of us winding our way through the huge Cavalcade of Customs. Last week we started on the third floor of the Duke Energy Convention Center. This week we've made our way to the first floor (the second floor is mostly just meeting rooms with no cars being displayed). Today we're entering the portion of the main floor where they had racers (note the two A.J. Foyt cars) and some customs and rods.

Another Week From the Cavalcade of Customs

Welcome to week two from this year's 56th Annual Cavalcade of Customs. Sometimes I've grouped like cars together for my posts but this year I decided to just show them in the order in which Josh and I saw them as we made our way through the event. This post is mostly made up of the high end show cars. Yes, that is a video monitor on the back of that Ion and it is showing a Pepe LePew cartoon. Who doesn't need that?
