Forgotten Luxury Brands

A Show for Charity

Like just about every other car show the Annual Chazziz Valentines Car Show raises money for charity. Now in its eighth year, the show has donated over $5000 to the Alzheimers Association. The money is raised through entry fees and a small donation for guests at the door. This year among the cars turning up for this worthy event was a gorgeous GTO, a 1919 Ford Model T pick-up truck, a 1951 Plymouth, a 1973 Dodge Challenger, and a couple of Chevelles by Chevy.

A Car Show Under the Roof

For eight years the Annual Chazziz Valentines Car Show has been drawing people inside of the Roberts Center and out of the cold February weather. While occasionally cramped due to other scheduled events, this year's show made the best possible use of every square inch of the portion of the convention all designated for them. On display this year was a Ford Mustang, a Chevy Chevelle, a 50s Ford Falcon, an El Camino, a 60s Falcon, a 68 Pontiac, a 1954 Chevy Bel Air, and a well patina example of a Chevy C 10.

A Mid-Winter Break

Winter in my part of the country is generally cold with snow and ice. While it hasn't been as cold this winter and we have hardly gotten any snow, having a car show come up in mid-February is always a nice thing. The 8th Annual Chazziz Valentines Car Show featured nearly 80 cars whose owners were anxious to get out and show. Included in the show was a beautiful 1957 Chevy BelAir, a 1964 Corvette Stingray Resto Mod, a 1969 Camaro, a well worn early 50s Pontiac Chieftain, an El Camino, a Ford Mustang, a Trans Am, and a 1973 AMC Javelin.

8th Annual Chazziz Valentines Car Show

As the name suggests, the Annual Chazziz Valentines Car Show is held on the weekend closest to Valentines Day. This year's event filled the allotted space at the Roberts Center convention hall. The show is advertised to be "open to anything with wheels" and the cars and trucks that rolled in for this event proved that point.

On display for this one were a few great C1 and C2 Vettes, a 1956 Ford Thunderbird, a 1957, a 1951 Ford two door, a great looking Model A, a 1966 Dodge Coronet 50, and a 350 Chevelle.
