Cadillac Showed Up At the Pumpkin Run

In 1902 when Henry Ford was ousted from his original car company, the Henry Ford Company, the backers brought in Henry Leland who helped to create the Cadillac Automobile Company. From the beginning Cadillac automobiles were seen as luxury vehicles so when in 1909, they were purchased by General Motors, they became the luxury division of that company. Over the years Cadillac has been a standard bearer of luxury American cars. A number of them were on hand for the 46th Annual Pumpkin Run Nationals, including a 1949 model. But it was the massive cars of the 1960s that most people in the old car hobby remember about Caddy. Here are some of them.
