The Border Lords Were Formed For One Reason
It's not uncommon for a group of friends to get together, form a group and share their interests with each other. This is especially true in the old car hobby which sees any number of car clubs. This concept is partially true for the Boarder Lords Car Club, but only partially. The main purpose for this group is to put on the annual Labor of Love Car Show which raises money for the Shriner's Hospital. This year's event saw a number of amazing cars including a beautiful 1957 Lincoln convertible, as well as a Chevy Chevelle, an AMC Rebel in the Machine trim, a couple of custom street rods, a 1961 Ford Thunderbird convertible, a Pontiac LeMans, and another Chevelle.

The show, which moves around sometimes but is generally in the Milford area, drew about 100 cars for this event. Among them was a spectacular 1954 Buick Skylark convertible. Also on display was a Chevy Chevelle, a Camaro, an Oldsmobile Cutlass, a Ford Mustang, another Chevelle, and a 1962 Chevy Fleetside pick up truck.

Wrapping Up the Jerry Patton Memorial Car and Bike Show
Today I'm wrapping up my coverage of the very successful Jerry Patton Memorial Car and Bike Show held in Lebanon in conjunction with their annual Apple Festival. This lot of photos features something you don't normally see around the Midwest, an actual dune buggy. Also on display was a chopped street rod that began life as a Model A, a Ford Falcon station wagon, a Ford Coupe, a Mustang, and a Chevy delivery van.

More From Lebanon
The Jerry Patton Memorial Car and Bike Show has become a regular late summer event in the city of Lebanon. With good reason. Not only is it held the same weekend as the city's Apple Festival but it manages to bring in a lot of cool cars for folks to enjoy. For example, here is a Chevy Chevelle, a second generation Corvette, a 1969 Chevelle convertible, a Camaro, a 1965 Ford Mustang, a Ford pick up, and a restomod Chevy coupe.
