Oldsmobile Was On Hand At the Pumpkin Run Nationals

One of the joys of going to any old car event is the chance to see makes and models that are no longer being manufactured. Often referred to as orphans, a car brand that has gone out of business can often only be seen at some events. When you have a show that draws in about 2500 vehicles and all of them have to be from 1974 or before, chances are that there will be a few orphans on display. That was obviously the case with the 47th Pumpkin Run Nationals where a good selection of the defunct General Motors line Oldsmobile was on display. Among them was a very well preserved Cutlass, There was also the classic Olds 88, a 442, a Cutlass convertible, even a 1941 coupe, and a 1955 Holiday. This is going to wrap up the coverage of the Pumpkin Run, at least for now. As always feel free to let me know what you thought of the cars at this show by either leaving a comment (no ads, please) or by sending me an email to turnerbudds@yahoo.com
