Right off of I-65 just south of Louisville is the historic town of Elizabethtown, KY. With a quaint downtown and all of the typical suburban sprawl out by the interstate, Elizabethtown, near where Abraham Lincoln was born, is the home of a number of Swope automobile dealerships. Bill Swope built his auto empire and in doing so amassed an impressive collection of amazing old historic cars. His collection is on display, open and free to the public and is well worth stopping off to take a look. What you'll find is a 1938 Packard Super 8, a 1932 Ford V8, a 1956 Ford Club Deluxe, a 1920 Paige Touring, a 1931 Packard 833 Sport Coupe, a 1927 Dodge Four Door Sedan, and a 1924 Renault.
