The 46th Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance had a special display category celebrating Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg automobiles. These three classic car lines from Auburn, IN are all considered brilliant examples of design and technology. On display was a 1936 Cord 810 Winchester which was the first mass produced front wheel drive car, a 1930 Cord L-29, a 1925 Duesenberg Model A Roadster which was the first production car in the world with hydraulic brakes, a 1935 Auburn 851 SC Speedster, a 1932 Auburn 12-160A Boattail Speedster, a 1930 Duesenberg Model J convertible sedan with coachwork by Murphy which is one of only 100 built that year, a 1928 Auburn 8-88 Boattail Speedster which is one of only 887 built between 1928 and 1936, a 1931 Cord L-29 Brougham, a 1937 Cord 812 SC Phaeton, a 1927 Duesenberg Model X Speedster which was one of five Model X prototypes built and the only speedster, and a 1923 Auburn 6-43 Touring Sedan which is the only one believed to be still remaining.
