One Man's Massive Collection

There are all types of collectors in the world. People collect everything from coins and stamps to toys and watches. One man's collection of vintage American automobiles is now on display for the general public to enjoy. Located in Erlanger, KY, just off of I-275, Collection 21 isn't your ordinary car collection. There are nearly 250 cars and trucks, all but three being American, open on Friday and Saturday. All that's asked in return for viewing this amazing set of vehicles is a mere $15 donation, all of which goes to Housing Opportunities in Northern Kentucky. What you'll see as you wander through this massive collection is worth more than that meager donation. There is a 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III which has been converted to a drophead coupe (which means it's a convertible). While there were some Rolls Royces made in America, this is one of the three vehicles in the collection that is not a true Yank. Also on display is a first generation Ford Thunderbird, a 1942 Cadillac Series 42, a 1948 Cadillac Series 62 convertible, a 1954 Cadillac Series 54 sedan, a 1955 Cadillac Series 62 convertible, a 1962 Lincoln Continental Derham Coupe which is one of two prototypes built sporting only two seats and a much shorter wheel base, and a 1937 Cord Phaeton convertible.
