Kentucky is famed for being a center piece of the horse industry. The Kentucky Derby, the first leg in the famed Triple Crown, is held in Louisville every May. But less than an hour south of Louisville, just off of I-65, you can find a different kind of horse power. Swope's Cars of Yesteryear Museum is the personal collection of automobile dealer Bill Swope. In 1999 he collected all of his old, historic, vintage cars together and opened it up to the public, free of charge. The museum has about 50 vehicles, mostly older cars, some going all the way back to the very first years of the 20th Century. Some of what you'll see at the museum include a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker, a 1914 Ford Model T, a 1969 Chevy Camaro 350 Super Sport, a 1932 LaSalle convertible, a 1941 Buick Super Sport Coupe, a 1936 Packard 120B Touring, and a 1937 Cadillac Fleetwood.
