Great Weather For the Police Charity Car Show

Any time there is great weather for a car event it is a thing of beauty. The Lakeside Park Crestville Hills Police Department Charity Car Show saw weather that was about as good as could be hoped for. It was hot and sunny but there was low humidity and a nice breeze. Add to that some good music, several food trucks and a whole bunch of great automobiles and you have the makings of a good show. Among the rides on display at Thomas More University was a retired Cadillac hearse, a rarely seen Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser station wagon, a Triumph TR3, a Mazda MX-5 Miata, a Shelby Cobra kit car, a Pontiac Firebird, a Chevrolet Caprice Classic, and a Trans Am.
