Modern Cars At the Police Charity Event

In the past I was something of a snob when it came to posting pictures from the various car events I would attend. Unless it was a rarity or a super car of some kind I wouldn't post newer vehicles. I referred to them as parking lot cars, the kinds of rides you could see in the grocery store parking lot. Then a friend of mine who runs an event explained to me why he accepts all years, makes and models. He pointed out that, for example, the owner of the C7 Chevy Corvette might be friends with the guy driving the 1965 Ford Mustang and if the C7 guy can't go to a show, well, then the guy with the pony car might not show up. Plus, every registered car means more money going to the event's charity. Makes sense. So here are the modern vehicles that were at the Lakeside Park Crestview Hills Police Department Charity Car Show. While most are modern Corvettes and Mustangs and the odd Camaro there was a Polaris Slingshot on hand. The Slingshot was first introduced in the mid 2010s and is something of an anomaly. It might be classified as a motorcycle or perhaps as an autocar. In any case, they aren't common.
