For the second year the Lakeside Park Crestview Hills Police Charity Car Show was held on the campus of Thomas More University where about 100 cars and trucks congregated to raise money for the charities supported by the police department. The crowd was lively on a hot, sunny summer day with surprisingly low humidity. Among the cars on display was a 1958 Continental. This was when the Continental was a stand alone marque and not a Lincoln. Also at the show was a 1957 Chevy Chevelle Super Sport, a Camaro Z28, a Ford F250 pick up truck, a Cadillac Fleetwood, a Plymouth Road Runner, and a Dodge Charger.
