A few days before the Fourth of July, the Cincinnati Parks Commission helped sponsor the All American Bash on the banks of the Ohio River in Sawyer Point Park and Yeatman's Cove. The plan was to have a day filled with cars, food, music and more, all as a pre-Independence Day celebration, rain threatened the event and kept both car owners and those wishing to take part away. Still, close to 50 vehicles braved it and decided to show up. The event was divided up by decades and this is the group that was part of the cars from before 1960. Among them was a 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday sedan, a 1952 Chevy DeLux, a 1955 Bel Air, a 1935 Chevy coupe, a 1955 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery, a 1955 Dodge Power Wagon, an all original with matching numbers 1957 Ford Thunderbird, a 1958 Chevy Impala, and a 1955 Bel Air.
