Italian Racing Design Was On Display

While automobile makers and designers from Italy are well known for the beautiful achievements in creating masterpiece street cars, they are as well known for the beauty and speed of their racing machines. The 46th Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance celebrated all things Italian including those fantastic racers. Among the cars on the field at Alt Park was an extremely rare 1957 Maserati 300S, one of only 26 ever made and the favorite racer of famed driver Sterling Moss. Also on display was a 2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge Evoluzione, a 1971 Ferrari 312 PB which won every World Sports Car Championship race it entered, a 1957 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France, a 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport Zagato which was a major trophy winner at Pebble Beach in 1989, and a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 308 that ran in the Indianapolis 500 three years in a row, finishing in the top 10 each time.
