Italian Coach Built Cars At the Cincinnati Concours

While many countries have made excellent automobiles, it is perhaps the Italians who have created some of the most stunning looking bodies. The concept of a carrozzeria designing and building a body for a car somehow makes it special. The 46th Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance featured all things Italian with its La Dolce Vida, a Celebration of Italian Style. While there were plenty of pure Italian classes to enjoy there was also a class for coach built Italian vehicles.  Among the cars in this class was a 1954 Hudson Italia Coupe which featured a stunning body by Touring. Also on display was a 1952 and a 1953 example of a Nash-Healey Roadster which had the body designed by the famed Batista "Pinin" Farina, a 1981 DeLorean DMC with stunning body design by Giorgetto Guigiaro, and a rare 1958 Dual Ghia convertible with a unique design my Ghia.
