The Celebration of Automobiles

On a recent beautiful Saturday at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Celebration of Automobiles was held. Aptly named, the CoA is a Concours event that features 17 classes ranging from the Brass Era of 1900-1919 all the way up through the cars of 1970.

Those earliest Brass Era cars featured some absolute gems, including the 1913 Mercedes 35T Race Car at the top and the impressive and rare 1919 Cole Motor Car 7 Passenger V8 seen above.

Other cars included a 1912 Packard Dominant Phaeton, an Indiana made 1911 Marmon 32 Speedster, a 1909 Peerless 25 Raceabout, and a 1910 Speedwell 10 C Toy Tonneau.
