Labor of Love

There are all sorts of reasons to get like minded folks together to form a car club. For the Border Lords, the reason was singular: to raise money for the Shriner's Hospital. A while back I got to attend one of their shows and was blown away by this group of people and the amazing automobiles they attracted. How often do you get to see an actual Zimmer automobile? Zimmer was a small Syracuse, NY firm founded in 1978 to make what they called neo-classic cars. Since they only make between 10-20 cars a year seeing one like this 1987 model is pretty unique. Also at the show was a sweet 1966 Chevy Chevelle, a super custom Chevy S10 Extreme, a Ford Fairlane, a 1972 Chevelle, a 1948 Chevy sedan, and a Ford coupe.
