The Weather Broke For the 13th Annual Shriner's Car Show

For what seemed like weeks our weather had been consistent, consistently hot and humid. We were experiencing temperatures in the mid to upper 90s with humidity that gave us a heat index reading in excess of 100 degrees. Then came the day of the 13th Syrian Shrine Car Show and the heat broke, leaving us with a beautiful sunny day in the 80s with low humidity. That brought out cars like this 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS, a pre-war Chevy pick up, a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle, a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, a sweet looking T-Bucket hot rod, a first year Ford Mustang, and a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T.
