The 45th Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance

For the 45th Anniversary Edition of the Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance the event suffered from morning rain which turned away a number of participants and a vast number of attendees. This is a shame because up until the Covid pandemic this was the longest continuously running concours event in the United States. Once again it was working to benefit the Arthritis Foundation in its attempts to cure juvenile arthritis. While some car owners kept their vehicles away there were many others amazing vehicles that braved the elements, some there were there and not part of any class. Among those was the very rare Siata Torino. There was also a very early Porsche 911 which was fitting as the 75th Anniversary of Porsche was the show's feature. In addition there were some Volkswagen Beetles and a dune buggy kit sitting around as the 85th Anniversary of the VW Beetle was one of the special displays. For a little more than the next two weeks I'll be posting from the concours the cars I could get before the rains ran me out.
