Seventh Back the Heroes Rumble

 

About eight years ago a sheriff's deputy was shot down in the line of duty. In order to create a scholarship for his children members of the local community started the Back the Heroes Rumble. Recently, under very hot and humid conditions, the seventh annual event was held on the campus of West Clermont Schools. The event brought in over 100 vehicles despite the uncomfortable weather all gathered to add to the scholarship fund and to help purchase equipment needed by the area's first responders. Among the automobiles on display was a Ford Starliner, a 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe, a 1969 Chevy Chevelle, a second generation Chevy Corvette, a 1960 Chevy Bel Air, a Ford Mustang, a 1967 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport, and a Nissan GTR.
