Opening Day

Each year around this time the Sharonville Chamber of Commerce holds their annual Classic Car Show. This past Sunday was the 35th anniversary of the event that closes down half of the historic Sharonville Loop and fills it with classic and collector cars.
Despite a start that was less than perfect, clouds overhead spitting down rain, there was still a large turnout of cars from all over the world and from all eras. There were the cars that you would expect such as 1950s Bel Airs, Mustangs and Vettes and Cameros from all years along with a good turnout of MoPar beauties. In addition there was a large selection of European cars as well as the guys who have taken their rides and make them into something completely new and different.
I also ran into some old friends and got the chance to talk with a bunch of new car enthusiasts at this show.  So to officially kick off the 2012 car season, at least in my neck of the woods, here are some of the many, many great cars that were at this year’s Sharonville Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Show.
