After World War II and before the gas embargo and energy crunch that brought about sweeping legislation regulating emissions and in turn, performance, there were some amazing designs that were showing up on American roads. Perhaps none more prominent than this 1954 Chevy Corvette.
Also representing this era was perhaps the first king of the family vacation, this 1957 Chevy Bel Air Nomad. Joining them was a 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible, a 1958 Oldsmobile Super 88 Two Door Hardtop, a 1954 Kaiser Darrin with a fiberglass body and sliding doors, a 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, a 1958 Edsel Pacer Convertible, a 1957 Lincoln Premiere Convertible, a 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Type, a 1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster, and a 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible.
