Brewster Era Carriages at Keeneland

Since the 14th Annual Keeneland Concours d'Elegance was held at one of the most famous horse racing tracks in the country it isn't a surprise that they would have a special class celebrating Brewster and Company Carriages. Starting in 1810 James Brewster and his sons began crafting exquisite carriages for the wealthiest families and clients in the land. This special class featured some of the finest work done by the firm including a 1902 Skeleton Side Bar Gig.
Also on display was a beautiful 1877 Park Drag Coach, a 1900 Peter's Driving Phaeton, and a 1902 Small Stanhope Gig which won Best in Class.
