Most people know the story of the Chevrolet Corvette. It was America's first truly successful sports car even though the Crosley Hotshot was the nation's first two seater sport runabout was introduced in 1949. The 1953 introduction of the Vette, though, proved to be the first car to compete against the sports cars from Europe that had become popular after World War II. To celebrate these cars various Corvette clubs and enthusiasts gather at the Rollin' On the River car show. Here are some that were on hand that day.
