The Ford Mustang is one of the greatest success stories in the automotive industry. A sporty, inexpensive car aimed at the growing youth market, the car was basically cobbled out of parts bins, primarily that of the Falcon. It became instantly popular and, though it technically wasn't the first "pony" car to hit the market, that being the Plymouth Barracuda by mere days, it was by far the most successful. That's one reason there were so many on hand at the 8th Annual Cruisin' To A Cure For ALS show in Lawrenceburg. Here are just a few that were part of the more than 1000 cars and trucks on hand that day.
