Old Timers At the Urbancrest Car Show

The annual car show at Urbancrest Baptist Church in Lebanon has become one of the more interesting in terms of the vehicles that it draws. Yes there are the usual suspects on display but this show tends to also draw some very old cars such as this 1928 Essex Super Six. Essex was formed in 1918 and by 1922 was part of the Hudson Motor Company. It lasted until it was replaced by the Terraplane in 1934. Also on display were some early Fords,  and a 1932 Rockne. The car was named for famed Notre Dame football coach Knute Rockne originally for Willys but due to financial trouble was ultimately released by Studebaker.
