Spirit In the Sky Saw Plenty of Detroit Vehicles

The 5th Spirit In the Sky car show, held to raise money for the Lane Heeg Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to students at Blanchester High School and the 4H of Clinton County, saw over 100 cars and trucks turn up. Among them were plenty of vehicles from the Big Three out of Detroit, Chrysler, Ford and General Motors. There was a 1966 Ford Fairlane station wagon, a 1958 Chevy pick up truck, a 1964 Chevy Caprice, a 1964 Dodge Polara, a 1965 GMC pick up, a Ford Falcon, a 1969 Fairlane, and a 1964 Ford Galaxie.

Spirit In the Sky Raises Money For Charity

The 5th Annual Spirit In the Sky car show is held to raise money to support the Lane Heeg Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to students at Blanchester High School and the 4H Club of Clinton County. This year's event managed to draw over 100 cars and trucks including a 1953 Pontiac Chieftain, a very sleek Ford limousine, a few mid century Chevy Bel Air models,  a 1946 Chevy pick up truck, a 1948 Ford, and a 1928 Ford Model TT.

Blanchester Hosted A Show For High School and 4H Charties

Most every collector car event has the main purpose of raising funds for a charity. The 5th Spirit In the Sky show held in Blanchester supported the Lane Heeg Memorial Scholarship Fund that provides money to both the local high school students and the 4H of Clinton County for scholarships. The fund is in honor of a young man who tragically passed away at the age of 20 and, according to organizers they average raising $15-20,000 per year. This year more than 100 automobiles rolled in and took part. Among them was a not quite stock mid 1930s Ford V8 pick up truck, a 1967 Pontiac GTO, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air, a Chevrolet Camaro Z-28, a 1969 Camaro Super Sport, another 1957 Bel Air, a Chevy Impala, and a 1989 Dodge pick up.

A Show In Memory Of Someone Lost Too Soon

The 5th Annual Spirit In the Sky Car Show was held in Blanchester. The event honors the memory of Lane Heeg who tragically passed away at the age of 20. Proceeds go toward the Lane Heeg Memorial Scholarship Fund which helps students at Blanchester High School and the 4H of Clinton County. The show has been averaging between $15-20,000 raised per year. This year the event saw over 100 cars and trucks take part. Among them was a Chevrolet 3100 pick up truck, a 1991 GMC Syclone, a 1979 Jeep Golden Eagle, a rare and smartly dressed 1997 Honda ACTY, a 1955 Chevy Bel Air, a 1920 Studebaker, a custom 1956 Studebaker, and a 1950 Ford F1.

The 5th Spirit In the Sky Car Show

The 5th Spirit In the Sky show was held on a hot, summer-like autumn day and managed to draw in over 100 cars and trucks. Among them was a 1938 Ford coupe, a custom 1998 Ford Ranger, a 1967 Fairlane (for those who may not know, Fairlane was the name of Henry Ford's estate), a 1963 Chevy Nova, a souped up 1966 Plymouth Belvedere, a C7 Chevy Corvette, a 1969 Ford Mustang, and a 2020 Mustang GT2.

Wrapping Up the Rumble In the Park

This is the last of the posts from the 6th Annual Rumble In the Park. The show, held to sponsor charities of the Monroe Township emergency services, brought about 50 cars and trucks to the Monroe Township Park. Among them was a 1963 Chevy Bel Air, a Chevrolet Cheyenne pick up, a Chevy Suburban, a Ford F-150, a reproduction of a 1929 Mercedes Benz SSK Gazelle, a restomod Plymouth coupe, and a 1950 Chevy pick up.

Corvettes Rumbled In the Park

The 6th Annual Rumble In the Park to support the charities of the Monroe Township emergency services was held in Monroe Township Park and brought in about 50 cars and trucks. A nice percentage of those were Chevrolet Corvettes. Here are the ones that attended, including a sweet 1956 C1 version.
