The number of old and vintage trucks showing up at old car events has increased over the years. Perhaps it is because the way people view modern trucks as something more than work vehicles could be one reason why. Maybe it is because purchasing an old truck is generally less expensive than a comparable car. Whatever the reason, it's always good to see a nice collection of trucks roll into an event. The 11th VFW Post 9772 Car Show held at Mr. Orab Village Park was no exception. Among the trucks on hand was a 1953 Ford F-100, as well as a couple of more modern Chevys, a well worn Ford F-100, a 1936 Ford truck, a 1954 Chevy 80 diesel truck powered by Cummins, and a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne.
