Camaro Went Headin' For the Hill

When Ford introduced their Mustang in 1964 as a 1965 model (though aficionados refer to those first cars as 1964 1/2 models), the public response was overwhelming. It seemed that everyone wanted one of those new "pony" cars. General Motors immediately took notice and decided that they needed their own version of a pony car. So for 1966 Chevrolet introduced the Camaro. These were also huge sellers and so it is little wonder that a show the size of Headin' For the Hill in North College Hill there would be plenty of Camaros on hand. Along with the 1970 Z-28 seen above, there were. Here are just some of the Camaros on hand that day.
